Happy Tuesday! For today’s topic, I chose the word “house/home”, since apparently I have plenty of books featuring these words. Some of these books I have already read, and others are still waiting to be picked up. In no particular order here we go:

  1. The House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende
  2. Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder
  3. The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune
  4. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
  5. Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
  6. Anne’s House of Dreams by L.M. Montgomery
  7. House of Many Ways by Diana Wynne Jones
  8. And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer by Fredrik Backman
  9. The House with Chicken Legs by Sophie Anderson
  10. Calling Me Home by Julie Kibler

    That Backman is amazing, and heartbreaking. My father died of Alzheimer’s so… yeah.

    I think, house or home is a great choice. It gives me a certain feeling, but you have found a mixed genre, Lin. I’ve read 4 of these, the The House with Chicken Legs grabs me. I’ll have to check it out.

      Yes, it is! It really made me nostalgic when choosing this topic. I wonder which books you have read? I still need to read The House With the Chicken Legs. I have had it on my TBR for ages now. I really hope that we both enjoy it when we get to it 🙂

    I loved The House of the Spirits, I read it in Spanish and it’s excellent! I really want to read House of Many Ways and the House w/ Chicken Legs also sounds fun. Here’s my TTT for this week 🙂
