Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Today’s prompt: Books I HAD to Have Immediately but Still Haven’t Read (this is a throwback topic from 2022)

I’m joining a bit late, but I still made it! It’s been hectic over here, so this is my weekly check-in to let you all know I’m still around (haha). Although most of the time I’m not even sure where I am because of my toddler… so yeah… On today’s topic, I love it because I have the tendency to buy books I want to read so badly, then I just abandon them and forget I even bought them in the first place… Here we go, in no particular order:

  1. The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Robin Wall Kimmerer, John Burgoyne
  2. Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter by Heather Fawcett
  3. The Vanishing Cherry Blossom Bookshop by Takuya Asakura, Yuka Maeno
  4. The Listeners by Maggie Stiefvater
  5. The Blanket Cats by Kiyoshi Shigematsu, Jesse Kirkwood
  6. The Teller of Small Fortunes by Julie Leong
  7. Pearl by Siân Hughes
  8. Brightstorm by Vashti Hardy
  9. The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern
  10. A Pinch of Magic by Michelle Harrison

Happy reading, and let me know what’s on your list!
