Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Today’s prompt: Books That Live in My Head Rent-Free (Stolen from Emma @ damppebbles.com)
Oh, this is such a fun topic, and I definitely have some books that fit right in!
- A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman: I just love this story, the people in it and I loveee Ove!
- The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: My favourite book of all time, if I had to pick one. This story is so profound everytime I re-read it I discover something new.
- Anne of Green Gables by L.M Montgomery: I just find myself constantly imagining Green Gables and I just want to be in that era
- A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness: I loved everything about this book, I need to re-read it
- Death and the Gardner by Georgi Gospodinov: This story is so touching and it hits different because I could relate to it on so many levels
- Foster by Claire Keegan: I loved every bit of this short book and I still need to watch the movie
- The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J Klune: Needless to say, this is my go-to book when I am feeling down or in a reading slump, it never fails me (although for me there is no sequel, this is a standalone!)
- Assistant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer: My new favourite series! I just can’t wait for the next book to come out
- A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E Schwab: I loved this book but still need to read the rest of the books! I am guilty as charged… I promise I will catch up eventually…
- Homunculus by Joe Sparrow: This was both the saddest and most touching graphic novel I have read.. I weeped…

Let me know if you’ve read any of these! Happy reading 🙂
