Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Today’s prompt: Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the Second Half of 2026

Oh, today’s topic is so thrilling because I am curious to see how many people are looking forward to the same books as me! Some of you might already know what my most anticipated book of the second half of the year is, but here are my picks without further ado:

  1. Adversary to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer: It is expected to be published at the beginning of August, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. This is the 4th book in the Assistant to the Villain series if you have not read it, please do!
  2. Everything Was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt by Ben Reeves: I just like the premise of this one and I think I might enjoy it
  3. To Dream in Darkness by Ann Liang
  4. A Time of Witches by Madeline Martin
  5. Paper Ghosts by Sarah Addison Allen
  6. The Birthing Tree by Amanda Peters
  7. The Duke Wore Fangs by Barbara Russell
  8. Fall into Place by Kristyn J. Miller
  9. Twig’s Traveling Tomes by Gryffin Murphy
  10. Thank You for Remembering by Emily Harding

Let me know what your most anticipated books are! Happy reading
