Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Today’s prompt: Genre Freebie
Ah, today is a freebie, and I don’t really know what to choose… I guess on this one, I will go with Non-fiction books about nature I would love to read:
- Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer
- Gathering Moss by Robin Wall Kimmerer
- The Servingberry by Robin Wall Kimmerer
- Be a Birder by Hamza Yassin
- Entagled Life by Merlin Sheldrake
- Ancient by Luke Barley
- Other Minds by Peter Godfrey-Smith
- When the Forest Breathes by Suzanne Simard
- Footprints in the Woods by John Lister-Kaye
- Elegy for a River by Tom Moorhouse

Non-fiction, especially related to nature, is one of the genres I would like to read more of this year. These books are some of the ones I am eyeing and wanting to read. Recently, I started Footprints in the Woods, which I was enjoying, but had to put it on pause because I need to be in the right headspace to enjoy this particular genre. As a mood reader, this is a struggle, since my brain is craving one thing one minute and something else the very next…
Happy reading, and tell me what you have chosen for today’s topic, or is there a book from this list that tickles your interest?
