The topic for this TuesdayFreebie!

Happy Tuesday! Hope you all have been doing well. We got sick, unfortunately and are still recovering. Too bad because the weather is quite nice, although windy, but we can’t go out and play… Today is a freebie, and I have chosen the topic Top 5 Books for Rainy days! Probably this one has been done before, however, I have not done it, and I kind of felt like sharing the books and the feeling of nostalgia for those days!

  1. Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi: I read this a while ago, and I definitely get those rainy-day vibes from it. It is a nostalgic, beautiful, yet touching book series that I don’t think gets enough attention.
  2. Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Montgomery: I am currently reading this one; it is a book to snuggle with on a rainy or cloudy day, for sure. It will brighten up the day!
  3. The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune: This is one of my favourite books, and I always go back to it whenever I am feeling down or in dire need of a warm and cosy vibes-filled book.
  4. Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree: A recent read for me from this year that I enjoyed quite a bit. Definitely the cosy low-stakes fantasy you need on a rainy day.
  5. The Tea Dragon Society by Katie O’Neill: Ending on a graphic novel trilogy that I will always recommend. This is so wholesome and cute it will make every cloud and rain go away!

  1. sorry you got sick. I hope you will very soon feel totally recovered.
I have discovered masking thanks to Covid. Now, every winter, from October to April, I wear a mask when I’m in a crowd, at church for instance. This year, i stopped wearing it only sarting on Pascha day. So I rarely fall sick. I haven’t been sick this winter at all
