WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @Taking On A World of Words, where we gather and answer the following questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you read last?
What will you read next?

Happy Wednesday! Hope you are having a great day. I am still trying to wake up after a sleepless night due to teething. But here we are ready for another WWW meme 🙂

What are you currently reading?

  1. The White Book by Han Kang: This is a collection of autobiographical poetry and short stories, taking my time reading it and savouring every word
  2. Pride and Pranks series by Cindy Steel: I am enjoying these books a lot, actually, so I went on and got them all, binge reading

What did you read last?

  1. The Pumpkin Spice Café by Laurie Gilmore: a review is coming soon, it was an alright read
  2. The Outpost by Devney Perry: not my cup of tea, but not horrible
  3. The Witch’s Cottage by Emberly Wyndham: hard pass!

What will you read next?

Planning on continuing with the Pride and Pranks series for now. Not sure what else I will be in the mood for reading.

How about you? What are your WWWs?

  1. I recently read Greek Lessons by Han Kang, which I didn’t find as good as The Vegetarian, so I’m waiting a bit for this author.

Last #book I finished: Moi Fadi le frère volé, by #RiadSattouf

#Amreading: The Chinese Maze Murders, by #RobertVanGulik

#Amlistening to: That Hideous Strength, by #CSLewis

#TBR Reading next: Satantango, by #LászlóKrasznahorkai

    1. Han Kang is on my radar. I read her poetry book, The White Book, the other day, and I was very pleased with it. So now I would like to read the books you mentioned. Although I am not very sure if it will be my cup of tea, I am willing to get out of my comfort zone, because I find her writing compelling in a way.

I hope you enjoy the books, and have a lovely weekend, Emma ❤

  2. I keep seeing The Pumpkin Spice Cafe books everywhere but the more I hear about it (mixed reviews) the more uncertain I am about reading it. Curious to hear more of your thoughts on it! Hope you enjoy whatever you decide to read next 🙂

    1. I think this is one of those books where you either love it or are meh about it. If you do pick it up, I really hope you enjoy it. The sequel I am told, is better, so I have more hopes for it and will be reading it. Right back at you, Dini! Have a great day ❤
