This is a popular bookish tag, creator unknown, but probably modified and used by many other book lovers around the globe. I saw it @ Read Your Leyre and decided to join it!

Without further ado here are the questions:

  • What was your first read of the year?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • A book you are dying to read
  • An author you have not read yet but want to?
  • A series you want to start?
  • A series you want to finish?

Clicking on the covers will take you to the Goodreads page of the book.

What was your first read of the year?

Sheets by Brenna Thummler

I read this graphic novel in February, which was my first read of the year. After a difficult pregnancy and a newborn in the house, it was the easiest for me to start off with something easy. Luckily, this was a 5-star read for me!

What are you currently reading?

One Knight Under Her Spell by E.P Van Gelder

An ARC that I am actually enjoying and very nearly done with! It is quite different from every other fantasy book I have read before.

Wintering by Katherine May

I am enjoying this one too, but since it is from the library, I will not be able to finish it before the loan ends, which is today lol. Another hold has been placed, so luckily it will be available soon, so I can finish the 30% left!

A book you are dying to read?

Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer

There are so many I am dying to read, but I have to go with this one! I am so interested in the whole premise, and I am ready for it now.

An author you have not read yet but want to?

Pearl By Siân Hughes

I have not read anything by this author, but this book is high on my list as well, and I can’t wait to get to it.

A series you want to start?

The House Witch by Delemhach

I am in the mood for cosy fantasy lately and definitely looking forward to this one!

A series you want to finish?

A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness

This series is begging me to finish it. It has been a long time since I read the first book, and I loved it. So now it is due for completion!

This is my take on this tag. If you want to partake, feel yourself TAGGED!

  3. I’ve been wanting to start The House Witch series, too! I enjoyed Wintering as well but it is a slower paced read for sure.

    1. Ahhh, great to hear this! I love Wintering so much, I see myself in what Katherine is writing is unbelievable. It is slow indeed, mainly because I am savouring it, and I want to feel every word 🙂 Fingers crossed we will like The House Witch!
