Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Marlene at Reading Reality, and it is all about sharing the new books we’ve acquired, be it in physical, digital or audio format! All the books count 🙂
Happy Saturday the first of April! Thanks to the Spring Kindle Sale still going on I did get some books I have been eyeing for a while now.
LIBRARY:
This is my list of books I have put a hold on and will get anytime now, hence I am including them:
- Wintering by Katherine May: nonfiction, memoir, nature and mental health
- The Little Shop of Found Things by Paula Brackston: fantasy, time travel, contemporary romance, historical fiction
- Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan: new adult, small-town romance

ARCS/DRC:
- No new ARCs acquired, I am trying my best not to get any so I can clear the ones I already have lined up!
AUTHOR’S REQUEST:
- The Joker’s Revenge by Nancy Beaule: YA mystery, romance
- Imperiled: A Science Fiction Adventure by Alexander Hans Schmitt, Vonnie Gene Schmitt: sci-fi, mystery

KINDLE:
Oook, soooo I might have gone over my book spending budget already, but I could not resist the urge to get my hands on these books, so no judgment, please, LOL! There are so many good books on sale now, some I bought at full price, but most were either halfway discounted or at 0.99 GBP ($1.28 approx.) at the time of purchase.
Additionally, I really wanted to get out of my comfort zone and buy books that I normally would not pick up, but I found intriguing nonetheless. Some of these have received literary prizes others were shortlisted, and I had to get Time Shelter by Georgi Gospodinov, the Bulgarian author who won the International Booker Prize (2023) glad to be able to support our local authors and not only!
Clicking on the covers will take you to the Goodreads page of the books.

Have you read any of these? Do you have any on your TBR? Let me know which one would you like to read!
