Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Meeghan Reads — you can check out the next upcoming topics here.
The topic for this TuesdayFreebie

Hmmm, I have so many topics I would like to talk about, but I finally settled for this one. It really will be hard to just stop at 5, so I might add a few more to this list! Don’t judge!

  1. The House in the Cerulean Sea by T. J. Klune: no matter how much time has passed this book simply pops up in my head every time I want to recommend a book to someone, I just loved every single word of it!
  2. The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan: I love this series more than Harry Potter, I must say, the humour and, c’mon, Greek mythology is awesome!
  3. Saga, Volume 1 by Brian K. Vaughan (Writer), Fiona Staples (Illustrator): this graphic novel is amazing, I still have to catch up from Vol 11 onwards, but man it has all you want from a sci-fi graphic novel.
  4. A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman: yes another book I always come back to and recommend to everyone!
  5. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green: two words; ugly cry!

Extra books:

  1. Homunculus by Joe Sparrow: I loved it, it made me cry and just a thought for your food really
  2. Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater: the first book I read in high school, it was a sleepless night haha
  3. A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness: this tiny book hit hard

How about you what is your freebie of today?

  1. Omg Shiver! What a throwback. Gosh I remember being so young and reading that series obsessively with my best friend!

    1. Haha 😄 yess it was sooo good when I read it back then. I don’t know how I will feel about it, not though that I’m much much older haha

  2. One day, if I lose my memory, I hope I can remember (lol) to reread Blindness by Saramago. Because I so loved the first pages, when you discover why the cars didn’t start again going when the light turned green. I love this passage, but it’s way more fun when you don’t know yet why, lol.
For today, I went with the same theme as the host:

      1. Great author, Saramago is the only one to win Nobel Prize in literature for Portugal.
It’s a tough book though eventually, kind of Lord of the Flies, with adults
