Happy Sunday! Since this weekend, I will be away with family the last few posts will be scheduled, so I will catch up with the book community on Monday! Until then, I hope you have a wonderful weekend and great reads!
THE WEEK:
Our baby girl turns 6 months today, and here, this is a big deal. Hence, my mother-in-law is with us to celebrate and to just spend some time together. We are very excited, and I can’t believe how big she is now! I swear she grows so fast!! Only yesterday, I sorted out her clothes and had to remove about 80% of them since they had become too small lool.
Other than that, nothing else has been going on, just the usual day-in-a-mother stuff. You know, cleaning, cooking, playing with baby, making sure baby is fed and ALIVE that sorta thing. Oh, and the occasional reading squeezed here and there.
I barely slept last night she kept waking up so today I do feel and definitely do look pretty much like this:
It is very accurate, hair and all, actually!

CURRENTLY READING/CHALLENGES/MARCH READS AND SOME STATS UP UNTIL NOW:
(courtesy of Uncover and Fabel apps):
I am currently reading 3 books, I just couldn’t help myself, and one book is from the library, so I had no choice!

I am enjoying Project Hail Mary a looot, as well as Yeonnam-dong’s Smiley Laundromat!
Still have tons of ARCs luckily, they are all scheduled, so I know exactly how much time I’ve got to read them, and I can pick and choose based on my mood.
I also finished a book that I will review on the 5th of April since I am part of the book blog tour for it, so keep an eye out for it. The Dragon’s Apprentice by James Riley is a middle-grade fantasy book coming out on the 1st of April
New DRC acquired from the author:

Synopsis:
FREE TO BE SAFE … SAFE TO BE FREE
The year is 2084. The Pansophical Corporation protects what’s left of humanity from the Tembakoo virus and a terrorist organization known as Praxis.
Loyal citizen Antony Sartori was once a Pansophical robotics engineer. After losing his wife to the pandemic, he now spends his days betting on sports and scrapes by thanks to his monthly Prosperity Dividend.
Read More:
One night while he’s at the pub, news of a deadly Tembakoo variant breaks. On his drunken walk home, he’s assaulted by Public Safety for violating curfew. That’s when the bizarre flashbacks begin. And he starts to think that the memory lapses he usually experiences may not be unique.
In a culture suffused by suspicion, asking the wrong questions would put him in the communal crosshairs, but Antony is determined to uncover the truth—no matter the cost.
How about you? What does your week look like, and what have you read?🙂
