It is that time of the week!

WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words, where we gather and answer the following questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you read last?
What will you read next?

Without further ado, let’s go straight to the point!

  1. What are you currently reading?
  • Finding Naomi: fiction book with an interesting story so far, DRC provided by NetGalley

For some reason, I am really struggling with Meet Me in Another Life, and I feel it is blocking me from reading. At this point, it is starting to feel like a chore having to pick this book up.

Also, the manga ARC is not what I thought it would be. Hopefully, it gets better.

2. What did you read last?

I just finished this collection of poetry by a writer who is based in my home country. I found the book at Booksirens, and I knew I had to read it. Have not read poetry in a long time, and the university was telling me it was time to change that.

This little book pleasantly surprised me. If you are interested, I will soon post a review. Keep an eye out for it, and if you’ve read it, tell me how you found it!

3. What will you read next?

Will have to pick one or some of these ARCs next actually, one is a DRC only it has already been published.

I’ve always been a mood reader, and I can read one book at a time or 3-5 books at the same time. Depending on what I want to read, I go for that particular book that gives me those emotions I’m craving.

One interesting thing I discovered about my reading habits is that if I am currently reading a book I’m not that engrossed with, I then tend to read multiple books to fill the void that book is leaving in me. Hope it makes sense to at least one of you otherwise, I might be going insane, haha.

This is it, let me know your 3 WWW, and as always Happy Reading!

  1. I read in the same way, and those filler books are often what help me to DNF the one I’m struggling with. I’ve done that a lot more this year and my reading has been a lot more enjoyable as a result.

Hopefully Meet Me In Another Life gets better though.

  2. I can’t believe you can read 3-5 books at a time! I would feel so overwhelmed and forget what happened in the other books I’m reading 😂

    1. hahaha, I sometimes do forget, but that’s why I annotate and write, especially if a review will be written. It’s not for everyone, but I’m a mood reader 😀
