Hello guys, I am interjecting later than usual. Hope you are all doing well and taking care of yourselves.
I was away for a little while, my mum had to be admitted to the hospital urgently for a few days, so my mind was not in the right place to be running a blog or reading, and we were very close to buying tickets to Italy in case the outcome was to be bad… Thankfully, everything is alright, and she has been discharged, and nothing serious has been found. She had a really bad kidney stone episode with a severe headache; it was the latter they were most worried about, but as I mentioned, nothing worrying came from the scan.
We had a few days of scare, and I also was not feeling great due to the stress, and my husband suggested we go visit my in-laws so we had some distraction, and a little family gathering that really helped me with the ongoing situation and if anything, I was not on my own in home worried sick for my mum.
I will end this update here, just wanted to let you know why I was absent and that now everything is fine and we are home. I have a lot of catching up to do with the reading, reviews and with the community in the next days.
