Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Marlene at Reading Reality, and it is all about sharing the new books we’ve acquired, be it in physical, digital or audio format! All the books count 🙂
Happy Saturday, all! I am going straight for the meme because I have a baby who wants to go outside!
LIBRARY:
Same as last time, I still have a hold on the same books:
- Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan: there are 8 days left before my loan expires, and honestly, I don’t know if I will be able to get to this one, since there are other, more urgent ones waiting for me
- Brownstone by Samuel Teer and Mar Julia: this is a quick graphic novel I picked as a much-needed palate cleanser. Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I resort to graphic novels lol
- Wintering by Katherine May: expires today, managed to read a bit but still have 25% left, will be waiting for the next hold to come throug

AUTHOR’S REQUEST:
- The Shadow Network by Yuna Lim: book #2 in the Seoul Shadow trilogy! I am excited to get to continue the story and see where it all goes
ARCS/DRC:
- The Hedgehog Who Painted the Weather by Ingo Blum
KINDLE:
- The House of Many Lives by LK Wilde
- Go as a River by Shelley Read
- The History Trees by Colin Salter

PHYSICAL:
I am only adding this section, since I buy my daughter children’s books and I really want to share them with you.

- The Unicorn and the Lost Cat by Claire Philip
- The Unicorn and the Wild Horses by Claire Philip
- One, Two, Three! Where did you hide? This is a Bulgarian book, so I don’t think there are any translations of it, but is really fun and interactive
- Granny Bear and the Hedgehog, this is another Bulgarian tale that has no translation, but is a tale with a lesson, as we call them here, it means that it teaches the children that every action has a consequence

This is from me, this time around I was really good at controlling my buying urges, mainly because we are mostly outdoors haha. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
