  1. A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman: Based in Sweden and one of my favourite books, I have written a short review on Goodreads, but I will reread and write a proper one!
  2. A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness: set between the UK, France and Italy! another one I need to a review of!
  3. Foster by Claire Keegan: set in Ireland love it
  4. The Infernal Devices Series by Cassandra Clare: set in England love it
  5. The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman: set again in England loved every bit of it

  1. Great choices, Lin. I read a lot of books set in various countries in the UK. I have read Foster, The Graveyard Book and A Man Called Ove. I hope to find some books set in Europe in different countries to learn more about them.

    1. Thank you! Glad to hear you’ve read these ones too! I hope you find great books and share them with us. I unfortunately happen to read books that are mainly set in the UK, not because I choose it this way it just happens. Hence, I really want to read more Nordic literature and from the Netherlands and Belgium because I have not yet. I think is great to venture into different cultures and see what their literature is like
