Time Travel Thursday is a weekly meme hosted by Budget Tales Book Blog where readers take a look back at what they were reading this time last year (or the year before or the year before that…) and compare it to what you are reading now.

Happy Thursday! Today we are going to take our baby girl to routine checks for the stomach and the digestive tract. Here when babies turn 6 months they have tons of checkups, to see how they are developing and if there is anything it will be caught on time. Fingers crossed that everything will be alright.

Now back to the meme, I will revisit the last year 2024 again!

WHAT I WAS READING BACK IN 2024:

I was reading these books around this time last year. Iron Flame was a huuuuge disappointment for me and got 3 stars, never wrote a review. The Lost Library was a fun middle-grade book and it got 4 stars.

WHAT AM I READING NOW:

Still the same genres, although I am more focused on ARCs and author’s requests now.

Not sure if I want to continue with Fourth Wing, I was reluctant to buy Onyx Storm, but judging from the reviews it is a tad better than its predecessor so I don’t know I will have to see how this goes…

Happy reading!

  1. The Lost Library is on my TBR! Sounds wonderful.
I looked ten years ago: that was the year I was part of the Shadow Panel for the International Booker Prize! So I read a lot of stuff I would not have read otherwise, but also discovered a few gems

    1. Ohh I think you might like it! I remember enjoying it. Really, you were part of the panel? This is great do you remember which book you voted for back then? Discovering gems is one of my favourite things, hence I always accept author requests once because I want to help in the littlest way I can and second because this way I have discovered hidden gems for which I am ever so grateful 🙂

      1. Not the official panel, but the Shadow Panel. I wrote several blog posts about it back then
