Happy Sunday! I hope your week was fabulous and your reads were/are 4+ star worthy!

THE WEEK:

The week was eventful, the little one had routine blood tests done and she still has anaemia, but thankfully nothing serious. She is her happy self, but yesterday she gave us a huge scare when out of nowhere she started crying like she has never done before and started hyperventilating it was obvious it was due to pain, but could not figure out how or why. My husband and I nearly took her to the ED thankfully it all subsided rather quickly and I thank my lucky stars for having some experience working in this sector I had a cool head and did not panic because my husband was and someone had to anchor us. In a situation like this, I always thought I would be the one who would need to be anchored, but I guess nearly 5 years in ED changes you in ways you never expected. Anyway, she is fine but if it happens again I am taking her for a check as it could have been due to a gazillion reasons why it happened in the first place. I am not going to lie this was the first time I actually cried since we made it out alive after the emergency cesarian… Here is a pic of her having a play time 🙂

Hence, I was not active on the blog much, I promise to get back to all of you as soon as I am able to and visit your blogs too, this is one of the few things I love doing and engaging with our book community keeps me sane and makes me feel like I belong! So to all of you out there who always stop by and like and comment THANK YOU!

On the bright side, I had to re-pot my rose again! She has gone wild and has new leaves growing that will probably have more flower buds. Her colours are pink and white! I had to give her more space to grow and can’t wait to see how big she gets and how many roses she will give. For now, we stand at 3!

CURRENTLY READING/CHALLENGES/APRIL READS AND SOME STATS UP UNTIL NOW:

When it comes to the challenges I don’t really pay attention, if the book I am reading fits into some of the challenges then this is great! Otherwise, I don’t meticulously follow it, at least not for now.

This is from me, hope you have a wonderful new week ahead of you and Happy reading!

What a scare that must have been! I am glad your little one is doing better and hope that continues. What a beautiful rose! My rose bushes are not fairing too well right now. I see flowers on one, but not the others. Hopefully it’s just a case of them not blooming yet rather than not at all. I have a tendency to approach reading challenges (when I take part in them) the same way–if the book fits, great. I hope you have a great week and take care! Enjoy your reading!

    1. Thank you so much! It really did scare us a lot both my husband and I could not sleep that night constantly checking on her, but thankfully she is fine now! The rose is going wild only today I saw more leaves growing if she keeps it at this rate I will have to re-pot it again to a huge pot this time hahah Ahh sorry to hear about your rose bushes fingers crossed they will get better! Yes, I just pay more attention to the books rather than challenges haha hope you have a great one too and thank you for stopping by!! 🙂
