THE REVIEW:
This was the final installment in The Witch Boy series and I am sad that it ends here… There is so much more that could be expanded in this world I really hope Molly decides to continue with this series.
We follow Aster’s family as they all gather for the Midwinter Festival where the Vanissens ‘ partake in the Jolrun tournament. I loved that we found out more about Ariel and that Aster is being who he really is. The newfound family and their strong friendship with Charlie.
This was a nice conclusion, but it does leave you with a feeling that this is not the end, hence I am hoping for more of the story in the future…
Overall, wish there was more to the tournament, and that some topics such as Ariel’s backstory were explored more, as well as her friendship with Charlie.
A solid 4-star read for me!
