Happy Sunday to you bookish people! Today is time for yet another The Sunday Post meme hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer, where you can find more about if you’d like to partake.

Another week has passed, and here, the new month has come. March is an important month in my country, yesterday, the 1st of the month, we celebrated Baba Marta (Granny Martha) by giving each other martensitsi in the hope it will bring us prosperity and health throughout the year.

Today is Sirnji Zagovezni, the day where we ask our family and friends forgiveness. It is an important day to put everything behind us and start with clear consciousness.

Also, on the 3rd is our Liberation Day from the Ottoman oppression that lasted 500 years and ended in 1876. This is how we celebrate on the most important monuments called Shipka.

Enough about Bulgarian history and traditions. Now let me tell you what’s been going on my blog lately.

  1. That’s quite the exciting book haul! I hope you enjoy them! it’s tough to push your way through an awful book, and try to write a review for it. even sometimes in books i enjoy i’ll mention if a pet peeve of mine pops up because i feel people ought to know it’s in there.

I immediately ran to Amazon UK to see if any of these were going on sale and the one I wanted the most (The Wedding People) was going for 99p as well! I immediately scooped it up so thank you for letting me know about the book deals even if most are different for the UK shop! 😂
