This month’s theme is: Valentine’s Day/Something Sweet on the Cover
F–rosted Kisses, book #2 in The Cupcake Queen duology by Heather Helper

I have no idea what this book is about. Clearly, there is some romance going on, so I would be happy one day to read these two cute and sweet books 🙂

B–efore the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi

I read this one a couple of years ago, and it instantly became a favourite. We follow different people and take a deep look into their relationships. It is a commentary on life itself, the difficult situations we might face, and simply say and do the things we want before it’s too late.
This series has 5 books published as of now, highly recommended.
R–emarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt
It’s yet another book that I can’t wait to read, I’ve heard only good things about it, trying not to put my hopes up though…
Summary:
In Remarkably Bright Creatures, Tova Sullivan, a grieving widow, finds solace working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium. Still haunted by her son’s disappearance thirty years ago, she forms an unexpected bond with Marcellus, a wise and observant giant Pacific octopus. Though indifferent to humans, Marcellus unravels the mystery of Tova’s past and is determined to help her uncover the truth. This heartwarming debut novel explores unlikely friendships, healing, and the power of confronting the past to embrace the future.

U–ni the Unicorn by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Brigette Barrager

Just a cute little children’s book the cover is lovely.
A–mari and The Night Brothers by B. B. Alston
Oh, a review is coming for this one soon! I actually really enjoyed this one, Harry Potter and Percy Jackson vibe for sure.

R– The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion

Summary:
In The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion, Don Tillman, a brilliant but socially awkward genetics professor, embarks on “The Wife Project”—a scientifically structured quest to find the perfect partner. His strict criteria leave little room for spontaneity, but then he meets Rosie, a free-spirited bartender who is everything he isn’t looking for. As he helps Rosie search for her biological father, Don’s meticulously ordered world is turned upside down. Hilarious, heartwarming, and charmingly unconventional, this romantic comedy explores love, acceptance, and the unpredictability of human connection.
Y–ou’ve Reached Sam by Dustin Thao
Summary:
In You’ve Reached Sam, seventeen-year-old Julie’s carefully planned future shatters when her boyfriend, Sam, unexpectedly dies. Grief-stricken, she tries to erase his presence from her life—until a message in her yearbook pulls her back. In a desperate moment, she calls Sam’s phone just to hear his voicemail… and he answers.
Given a second chance to say goodbye, Julie finds comfort in their mysterious phone calls, but the more she talks to Sam, the harder it becomes to let go. As she struggles with keeping their connection a secret while watching his loved ones grieve, she must decide whether to hold on to the past or embrace the future. A heartfelt novel about love, loss, and moving forward.
