I typically don’t read religious books, but this particular one piqued my interest, compelling me to give it a chance. I’m pleased to report that it did not disappoint; surprisingly, the content wasn’t focused on religion at all. Instead, it offered valuable insights and perspectives that resonated with me when I was growing up and going through puberty.
It was somewhat nostalgic, wholesome, and refreshing. Despite its 200 pages, a movie based on this book was made, and I would like to watch it. It does look promising, and it came out in 2023 starring Rachel McAdams whom I loved in The Notebook.
If you are looking for a quick palate cleanser with some hints of nostalgia, especially if you are a woman, I highly recommend this read!
