This book is the type of book that reminds you of why you should probably stay in your comfort zone and not venture out of it…

You know the game “Never have I ever” right? Well, let me start first and I will eventually get to the point, and hopefully you will understand where I am coming from.

When I read the premise of this book I thought “Oh, this is totally not me, however, I am willing to give it a try and see if I end up liking this sort of self-help-personal development-mental health-related book”. I did give it a go and “never have I ever” experienced something more outrageous and obnoxious and stupid from start to finish.

Picture a person, a friend a family member, or just anyone that you know who swears a lot and then multiply that person’s swearing by 10 000 and you will get a slight idea of what I had to endure whilst reading this ” PhD, LPC-S, ACS, ACN is a bad-ass, funny lady with a PhD” author. I had no idea a person could fit so many swear words in a sentence and somehow think “That is a great idea, the youngsters will love it” like hellooo what the actual f… I still can’t believe it was approved to be published, it had a promising topic, it could have been really helpful and insightful, but the amount of swearing that was utilised throughout this book made my anxiety skyrocket and this should say it all. And for those who were wondering “No it did not help me get over my anxiety or any other related mental health issues that I might have had, if anything it added to my list of triggers”.

To summarise my whole reading experience:
