Ever since I came back to my home country, I have bought 3 physical books, + 1 was gifted to me. Back then, I used to buy as many books as I could afford or could carry, haha.
Nowadays, thankfully, I can control my surge of buying books more, and I have switched to borrowing a lot from the library or buying Kindle discounted books whenever I see a good book on sale. It does not harm my bank account and keeps me happy and in control of my impulsiveness when it comes to getting anything bookish!
So let us get into the physical books that I’ve got this year:

- THE ATLAS SIX BY OLIVIE BLAKE: This is my most recent purchase, I already have the ebook, but for some reason, I wanted to own the physical copy. Go figure bookish people problems, haha, right??
- LOVE, THEORETICALLY BY ALI HAZELWOOD: I loved Ali’s first book, and I knew I would have to read all of her other books. The enemies-to-lovers trope is one of my favourite ones
- BEACH READ BY EMILY HENRY: Beach Read was recommended to me by so many people, so I was kind of peer pressured to buy it, haha
- EMBROIDERY: THE ART OF YOSHIOKA: This book was gifted to me for my birthday and I dare say it is the prettiest book I own, I included some photos of the art in it and it is gorgeous.
What is your book haul ot 2023 looking so far?
