Alaska 1970s, different people from very different walks of life meet each other. Emotional, reflective, quick, and cozy read.

This book, has been on my TBR for quite some time. It was a goal to read it before the end of this year and finally I managed it.

Listened to the audio book, which I quite enjoyed.

The story was interesting, I love Alaska even though I’ve never been there, and appreciate the story setup. The characters were interesting with different backgrounds and life baggage- some heavier than others, but meaningful and impactful nonetheless.

The only thing is I wish this book was longer and we had more of the story, it felt too short to me as soon as I got attached to some of the characters the book was over… This left me a bit sour, however, it was very enjoyable. It gave me autumn vibes wish it was raining so I could curl up like a cat under a blanket with a nice cuppa tea and just read and immerse myself into the world the author is depicting.

Definitely recommend this book!
