GLORIFYING PEDOPHILIA, GROOMING, CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE, JUSTIFYING SEX WITH A CHILD

Rating: 0.5 out of 5.

“If Wavy showed up tomorrow, I’d do it all over again. I loved her the first time I saw her and I still do.”
“Love at first sight, huh? How old was she?”
“Eight.”

If you tell me you liked this book, just spare yourself the time and trouble of commenting why, and just leave.

Glorifying, normalising, justifying PEDOPHILIA, and sexualizing children is simply not acceptable, and it should not be by any culture, religion, or race. The people who liked this book are the reason why our society is so rotten and messed up to its core.

No amount of good writing and no matter how messed up Wavy’s and Kellen’s life, it could not justify what he did to her. This is a perfect example of how fucked up our systems are, the ones that are supposed to protect children in such horrific circumstances letting them down and doing nothing. Yet again we see the only person, her aunt, who tries to do something about it being portrayed as the villain, and the reader is supposed to despise her for it. It just shows what society we live in and how grooming is becoming more and more normalised along with pedophilia thanks to books like this one and individuals that write them in the first place and then the individuals who publish them and at the end those individuals that enjoy and accept them as “romantic”…

These are the same people that would say things like “Oh she/he was asking for it”, and “It is ok we should give children the ability to decide for themselves”… bitch since when pedophilia and grooming have become the norm? Why not normalize sex with babies then? Would you then stop and actually fucking think of pedophiles and all the other people thinking “But it is true love” as abominations? I don’t know what it would take for you all to open your eyes and realise how dangerous these types of books are if they happen in the hands of a child that doesn’t know any better or worse a pedophile whose ideologies are being glorified and even encouraged. I just hope no one of those people who liked this book has any children for their own sake.

It is baffling, flabbergasting how this book has over 50k in 5 and 4 stars ratings. Are you people insane? Are you so brainwashed and obtuse that you have forgotten what is right from wrong? Or are you so morally deprived that you are no longer a human being and you have lost your moral compass? I’m just wondering because everyone who reads this except for pedophiles themselves should be raging at this book, and it should be banned so we can protect the little sane people and children we have left. All together with any other book glamorising and normalising these topics. If I had the physical copy, I would have burnt it and sent it back to the publisher and the author!

I do not have an issue with books exposing difficult topics, and I do enjoy dark reads, but this is straight-up pro-pedophilia and grooming apologism that I CANNOT tolerate!

What the actual fuck, I still can’t digest the whole funking thing. This has to be said. Plain and clear this is pedophilia and grooming, and I will say it as many times as it takes for you fucking messed up people to understand how not OK this whole plot is be it fictional or in real life, and how fucked up ya’ll are. It is not cute, it is not love, and there is nothing romantic about a 20/30-year-old guy/woman being sexually attracted to an 8/13-year-old child let alone fingering or having sex with that child, under any circumstance should this be seen as something normal and even justified by their hard life snd upbringing!!!!

I am not religious, but if there is really heaven and hell, I will pray for you all to rot in hell!

This out of my system, there is nothing else to say. This book is atrocious, outrageous, straight-up deprived, and simply put written by an individual in dire need of psychological and mental help, which I hope she gets.

The author says that some of the novel — which is set in her native Kansas — is loosely based upon her own life experiences. Her father was a drug dealer, and as a preteen, Greenwood dated older men. “I was made to feel isolated and ashamed about the fact that I had these relationships with much older men when I was young,” she says. “There were people who were like, ‘You don’t know that you were victimized.’ [Those statements] really suck your sense of empowerment. [They] rob of your narrative capacity.”

As for my book, I firmly maintain that Kellen is not a pedophile (nor an ephebophile), but he has the misfortune of falling for the right girl at the wrong time. From Wavy’s perspective, he falls for her at the perfect time: when she desperately needs him. Life’s funny that way. My intention in writing the book was not to titillate, but to tell a story about love and perseverance that reflects parts of American life that don’t often get seen beyond headlines. As for The Glass Castle, it’s actually a memoir, whereas All the Ugly and Wonderful Things is purely fiction. A lot more people would have to pass away before I publish a memoir.

Just please do humanity and yourself a favour and never write again and go to therapy!

Automatically, in my blacklist don’t care how good of a writer she is. She clearly is a messed up person who must seek some help as soon as possible along with all the people who enjoyed and liked this book!
