Lin's Perspective

This is a book I read in a very dark period of my life back in 2012. It was given to me as a gift, and I fell in love with it as soon as I read the first few words. If you still wonder if love at first sight exists, let me tell you it DOES! Well, in this case, more like love at first read, but you get the point.

I have decided to make the re-read of this book a tradition every year if the circumstances allow me to. So here we are, June 2023, and I did another re-read, and guess what-my opinion on this book has not changed at all.

There is something about this masterpiece, and I cannot put my finger on it. Every time I delve into it, I learn or discover something I haven’t before. The writing is timeless, the message simply beautiful and before its time.

Additionally, the illustrations are simple yet punching and deliver everything they were intended to.

This is my favourite quote in the book, as I can imagine it is for most people.

Everyone should read this book at least once in their life, regardless of age. I am so obsessed with it that I’ve got a kindle case with an illustration and quote from the book:
